Welcome to Investment Dojo and thank you for downloading the app.

Let’s start by walking you through the user interface.

The home page tab features the latest news and gives you four game competitions to choose from:

- Stock games
- Crypto
- & Cash game competitions

The stocks tab lists the previous day’s most actively traded stocks in your game.

The menu tab is a circle tab with four dots. Here you will find:

The portfolio tab - lists every stock, option or crypto you are holding across the platform

Next is the overall ranking leaderboard - lists the overall profit from all games in play and your rank

The my games tab - access the games you have joined or created, both public or private

The bottom right tab is the notification tab - features all game notifications

Located to the right of the menu tab is the chat tab - lists the conversations you are having in between games with individual players

The settings tab - access your friends list, message them, unfriend or report a player; lists the total friends you have on the platform

Edit your profile, add a photo, tell your story, buy dojo coins for cash game competitions, see your ranking or level and the amount of dojo coins you have to play.

Next up is the game user interphase.

For example, to set up a stock game competition:
(1) play in a public or private competition
(2) choose between real time play or with a 15 minute delay

The 15 minute delay games are great for new players. It’s like playing with a glimpse into the future.

For example, let’s say in real time that Apple is trading at 173 but when you buy it in the game it’s trading at 170.

Simply buy on the app at 170, wait 15 minutes and sell while the game catches up to the real time price of 154.

To create a game:

Hit the home tab, and select the type of game you want to join or create a STOCK, CRYPTO or CASH GAME

Create a name
Select private of public
Enter start and end date
Input starting cash amount for each player
Select your settings between margin, short selling and options:

When you select margin your players will be able to leverage their accounts at 50%, which means for every dollar of starting cash they will have buying power of 1.50

For example, if the starting game is 10,000 dollars your buying power will be 15,000

When you short stock(s) you will bet on a stock going down and make a profit when it does

The Diversification Rule - if this is active you will not be allowed to put all your money in one stock; you will have to diversify your account between a minimum of two companies

You can allow players to enter the game late and rebuy, which allows them to refresh their accounts if they get behind, basically start anew

Lastly, select real time or 15 minute delay and push create. Your game will be located in the My Games section of the app in the Created tab.

If you join a preset game just hit the Joined tab.

Once the game is set up, it’s time to make your first purchase.

Simply hit the orange Trade tab located at the top right of the screen.
Search for the company you want to buy. Select the ticker symbol and it will take you to the company profile and overview page.

To buy the company, hit the orange Trade tab in the upper right. Enter your order

- buy, sell, or short.

Select the following:
Quantity
Market or limit order
Duration
The game you are buying in *note: it will automatically default to the game you entered, but for convenience you can buy in multiple games created or joined as well

Submit your order when done.

Note:
You will only be able to buy and sell stock during market hours (9:30AM to 4PM Eastern Standard Time)
